On Thursday, November 20, all children under 18 will be able to visit the National Museum of History of Ukraine in Kyiv for free. This initiative is dedicated to Universal Children’s Day, aimed at making museum exhibitions more accessible for youth and families.
Children’s Day “Ancient Greek School”
In addition to free entry, the museum invites children on Saturday, November 22, to a special event called “Ancient Greek School,” which will start at 12:00 PM. The organizers have prepared an engaging program for participants aged 10 to 13, lasting 90 minutes.
“We also invite children on November 22, Saturday, to attend the Children’s Day ‘Ancient Greek School.’ It begins at 12:00 PM,” the museum staff invites.
During the educational day, children will learn when and how the ancient Greeks appeared on Ukrainian lands, familiarize themselves with their way of life and education system. Participants will have the opportunity to study the ancient Greek alphabet, learn to write their names in Greek, and also count on abacuses—ancient analogs of modern calculators.
Participation Conditions and Registration
Admission to the event “Ancient Greek School” is also free; however, prior registration is required to participate. Registration can be completed via this link or by phone at 093 855 61 16 (Viber, Telegram).
