Нова Зеландія запровадила додаткові санкції через російську агресію проти України

Sanctions Target Companies from Various Countries

The updated sanctions list includes eight legal entities and ten individuals. Among them are organizations from North Korea, Iran, and Belarus that support Russian military activities, as well as Russian companies involved in the development and production of drones and other weaponry.

It was specifically noted that two Belarusian enterprises were sanctioned: the Vitebsk-based OJSC “Legmash Plant” along with its director Vladislav Pavlenko, and the Minsk-based “KB Unmanned Helicopters” with its founder Vladimir Chudakov. According to the New Zealand government, these entities are involved in supporting Russia’s military operations.

Restrictions Against the Russian Shadow Fleet

Sanctions were also imposed on 27 vessels of the so-called shadow fleet of the Russian Federation, which are used to circumvent international restrictions and transport prohibited cargo.

In April, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha thanked New Zealand for its decision to continue military assistance to Ukraine.
