This was reported by the civic organization «Passengers of Kyiv». According to activists, there was previously no clear separation of flows in this part of the waterfront, which forced cyclists to ride more slowly and avoid quick maneuvers. The updated markings create the illusion that cyclists will be able to ride faster, while pedestrians will remain on their paths, particularly on the bike lanes, as seen in the photographs. Experts say this could lead to collisions and conflict situations. It is worth noting that there are no road signs officially marking the existence of a bike lane.
