The sign for ‘Tootsie’ has already been dismantled from the facade of the architectural monument, and further work on cleaning the facade and improving the adjacent territory is ongoing.”
History and Status of the Architectural Monument
The activist emphasized that this building has been included in the State Register of Monuments by order of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine No. 379 dated May 27, 2024. According to him, it is a local architectural monument built in the Neoclassical style back in 1901 at the request of merchant Mykola Samsonov.
As Dmytro Perov noted, preserving historical value and adhering to architectural standards is a priority during the work.
