Violations at Parking Lots in Holosiivskyi District

The head of the Public Council under the Kyiv City State Administration, Hennadii Kryvosheia, has made a public appeal to the city authorities regarding the situation at the parking lot in the Holosiivskyi district — at the intersection of Yuliia Zdanovska and Samiyil Kishka streets. According to the existing contract, this location is supposed to have 210 parking spaces (189+21), but activists have counted around three hundred cars. They note that a green zone has been converted into a parking lot marked with the number “257,” which, in the activists’ opinion, indicates possible illegal earnings.

Million-Dollar Losses for the City Budget

According to public estimates, just one hundred similar illegal lots provide a shadow income of over 7 million hryvnias per month, amounting to nearly 80 million hryvnias per year. These sums bypass the city budget, causing outrage among Kyiv residents.
