The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an escalation of the situation at the front over the past day.

Main Directions of Combat Operations
According to military sources, over the last day, more than 170 combat clashes were recorded at the front. The highest number of confrontations occurred in the Pokrovsk, Kursk, and Lyman directions.
Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant losses on the Russian occupiers: approximately 1,050 enemy soldiers were destroyed, along with four tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, and 18 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems. Additionally, 65 operational-tactical drones and 52 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers were destroyed.
Shelling and Air Strikes
“The enemy launched one missile and 60 air strikes on the positions of our troops and populated areas, using two missiles and 94 guided aerial bombs. A total of 912 enemy drone strikes were recorded, along with 3,237 artillery shellings,” the General Staff reported.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attacks. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defense twice, while in the Lyman direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine countered 24 attempts to advance.
The Kramatorsk direction experienced 10 attacks from the aggressor. In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers made 15 attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense. The situation was particularly tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where 53 assault and offensive actions were recorded in the areas of 19 populated localities.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted 16 enemy attacks. The Huliaipole direction was struck by unguided rockets, while in the Orikhiv direction, nine clashes occurred.
In the Siversk, Huliaipole, and Dnipro directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. In the Kursk direction, 29 combat clashes were recorded.
