Residents and visitors of Kyiv who witnessed the massive shelling of the city on the night of June 17 are being urged to provide their testimonies through specially created online resources. As a result of the attack, nearly 30 people were killed, and about 150 were injured.
Testimonies for International Justice
The organizers of the initiative reported that all collected eyewitness accounts will be submitted to the International Criminal Court and the Office of the Prosecutor General. It is important that photos and videos can be added to the testimonies to support the facts of the war crime.
“Witnesses are asked to share what they saw and heard during the attack, how they feel after the shelling, about any destroyed or damaged property, and so on,” the statement reads.
How to Leave a Testimony
The collected data will also be disseminated abroad to inform the international community about events in Ukraine. To provide their testimonies, Kyiv residents can use the official website Svidok.org, the Telegram bot @SvidokNoteBot, or call the toll-free number 0-800-507-480.
