Repair work will cause temporary traffic restrictions

On the morning of June 25, significant complications are expected for drivers in Kyiv due to road works on several important sections of the city. Partial traffic restrictions will affect Naberezhne Shose – from Podil towards the Metro Bridge, as well as the intersection of Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue and Seryozha Lyfarya Street.
Repair of the Stormwater Manhole on Naberezhne Shose
On the section of Naberezhne Shose near the “Dnipro” metro station, heading from Poshtova Square to the Metro Bridge, traffic will be complicated from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The reason for the partial closure is the elimination of an emergency collapse of the stormwater manhole, which is being addressed by the repair crews of the Kyiv Municipal Road Maintenance Service in the Pechersk district.
“On June 25, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, traffic will be partially restricted on Naberezhne Shose in the area near the ‘Dnipro’ metro station, heading from Poshtova Square to the Metro Bridge,” the message states.
Asphalting in the Desnyansky District
In addition, road works will continue in the Desnyansky district of the capital from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Here, road workers will be laying new asphalt concrete pavement, which will also affect the intensity of traffic in this area.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance, considering possible traffic jams on the specified sections and to choose alternative paths to avoid delays.
