Features of the New Traffic Order
Reversible traffic will allow for a more efficient organization of transport flows during the bridge repairs. The new rules will involve changing the number of lanes in different directions depending on the time of day and the day of the week.
- In the morning hours, traffic will move in three lanes from the left bank to the right bank, while one lane will operate in the opposite direction.
- After 2:00 PM, three lanes will be directed towards the left bank, and one lane will head to the right.
- On weekends, two lanes will be opened for traffic in each direction.
Safety Monitoring and Driver Advice
The new traffic order will be monitored by the patrol police. Special attention will be given to the first days after the changes are implemented to avoid traffic jams and accidents.
“In the first days, patrol police crews will monitor compliance with the new regime. Drivers: pay attention to road signs, follow traffic rules, and plan your routes considering the changes,” the message states.
All drivers are advised to carefully watch for road signs, adhere to traffic rules, and take the new conditions into account when planning their routes to minimize possible inconveniences.
