Circumstances of the Crime in the Capital’s Entrance
The foreigner, who already had previous convictions for property crimes, broke into the entrance of a residential building in the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv. The perpetrator took advantage of the moment and stole a bag from the room of a 77-year-old female concierge. As a result, the victim lost four thousand hryvnias.
Judicial Verdict for the Recidivist
After operational search activities, the police managed to identify the thief. He turned out to be a 35-year-old Russian citizen who had already been held accountable for similar crimes. The Svyatoshyn District Court of Kyiv found the foreigner guilty of theft and sentenced him to five years of imprisonment.
