Seven countries have expressed their willingness to serve as a venue for negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin in order to seek ways to end the war. This was announced by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.

Which Countries Are Ready to Host the Talks
According to Sybiha, the list includes Austria, the Vatican, Switzerland, Turkey, and three Gulf states. The minister emphasized that these proposals are serious, and President Zelensky is ready to participate in such a meeting at any moment.
“These are serious proposals – and President Zelensky is ready for such a meeting at any moment. However, Putin continues to confuse everyone by making deliberately unacceptable proposals,” said Sybiha.
Russia’s Position and Ukraine’s Reaction
Andriy Sybiha noted that the Russian side continues to present unacceptable conditions for organizing the negotiations. The minister stressed that only increased international pressure can compel Russia to take the peace process seriously.
It is worth recalling that Vladimir Putin had previously mentioned the possibility of a personal meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky but suggested holding it in Moscow. This is already the second similar initiative from the Russian president, which the Ukrainian side has categorically rejected.
