Situation on the Front: Enemy Activity Decreased in Two Directions Over the Past Day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated information regarding events on the front line over the past day.

Number of Combat Engagements and Enemy Losses

Over the past day, there have been 165 combat engagements on the front line, with the highest number recorded in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Oleksandrivka directions. Ukrainian forces eliminated approximately 1,090 occupiers, destroyed one armored combat vehicle, 38 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, as well as 346 operational-tactical level drones and 131 units of automotive equipment of the Russian army.

“The invaders launched three missile strikes and 55 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, dropping 150 guided aerial bombs and employing 4 missiles. In addition, they used 4,597 kamikaze drones to inflict damage and carried out 3,875 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas, including 96 from multiple launch rocket systems,” the General Staff reported.

Situation in Various Frontline Directions

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were eight combat engagements yesterday. The enemy attacked ten times in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, while six attacks by Russian troops were recorded in the Kupiansk direction. The Lyman direction experienced 11 breakthrough attempts, and there were seven attacks in the Sloviansk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled twenty enemy assaults. The Pokrovsk direction remains one of the hottest spots, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 45 attacks near thirteen populated areas. In the Oleksandrivka direction, two enemy assaults were repelled.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 14 combat engagements, while in the Orikhiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through the defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice. No combat engagements were recorded this time in the Kramatorsk and Dnipro directions.
