Main Areas of Clashes and Enemy Losses
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces recorded more than 120 combat encounters with the enemy. The majority of attacks were concentrated in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Lyman directions. According to Ukrainian military sources, during this period, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated nearly 1,100 members of the occupying forces, destroyed seven tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, as well as one air defense asset. Additionally, 12 aircraft, 126 operational-tactical level drones, and 145 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers were destroyed.
“The enemy launched 2 missile and 49 air strikes, using three missiles and 78 guided bombs, 1,353 kamikaze drone strikes, and carried out nearly 4,000 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas,” the General Staff reported.
Situation in Specific Directions
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy assaults near Vovchansk and in the area of Dovhenke. The Kupiansk direction faced seven attacks from Russian troops attempting to break through the defenses of Ukrainian units.
The Lyman direction remains one of the hottest: throughout the day, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 15 times in the areas of nine populated localities. In the Siversk direction, defense forces repelled five attacks, while in the Kramatorsk area, the occupiers made five attempts to advance.
The Toretsk direction also faced significant pressure: nine assaults from Russian troops were recorded in a day. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 36 assault and offensive actions in the areas of twelve populated localities.
The Novopavlivka direction experienced 19 attacks from the invaders. In the Orikhiv area, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the enemy’s advance. Furthermore, in the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defense forces managed to halt 15 enemy attacks.
