General Staff Report on the Situation at the Front

In the past day, the frontline remained tense: over 180 combat engagements were recorded, with the most occurring in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Kursk directions. Ukrainian forces eliminated nearly 1,120 occupiers, destroyed one tank, five armored combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, 72 operational-tactical drones, as well as 106 units of automotive, special equipment, and fuel tankers.
Massive Strikes and Use of Drones
“Russian invaders launched 62 air strikes, dropping 92 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 863 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,536 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas,” the General Staff reported.
Throughout the day, the enemy actively used aviation and kamikaze drones, delivering massive strikes on the defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian areas. Additionally, over three and a half thousand shellings were recorded.
Situation in the Front Directions
- Kharkiv Direction: the enemy has abandoned offensive actions, and the situation is under control of Ukrainian forces.
- Kupiansk Direction: defenders successfully repelled eight attempts by the occupiers to advance.
- Lyman Direction: defense forces managed to stop 17 enemy attacks.
- Sever Direction: Ukrainian troops repelled three assaults.
- Kramatorsk Direction: six assault attempts were recorded, all repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
- Toretsk Direction: the enemy attacked 20 times here, but all attacks were halted.
- Pokrovsk Direction: the highest number of attacks — 38 in the areas of 13 populated points.
- Novopavlivka Direction: occupiers made 28 attempts to breach the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but unsuccessfully.
- Huliaipole Direction: one unsuccessful attack by the aggressor was recorded.
- Orikhiv Direction: the enemy carried out three offensive actions.
- Dniprovsk Direction: the enemy conducted one attack, which ended in failure.
- Kursk Direction: 22 combat engagements occurred.
Ukrainian forces continue to hold the defense across all directions, inflicting losses on the enemy and thwarting attempts by the occupiers to advance.
