Opening of Support Headquarters in the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi Districts
In response to the destruction, the district state administrations have decided to establish special support headquarters for affected residents. In particular, such headquarters have begun operating in the Solomianskyi district at 36 Hramatna Street (polyclinic), and in the Darnytskyi district at 24/23 Yaltinska Street.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported that each location is under the personal control of the district administration leaders. According to him, if necessary, higher-level officials will be involved to improve the mechanisms for supporting and assisting affected families.
“We are, along with the services, as we have been in the past, on-site to be close to the people who have suffered from the Russians. If we need to clarify the mechanisms for support and individual assistance, we will elevate the level of officials involved in this. Until we see results,” said Tymur Tkachenko.
Condition of the Affected and Organization of Social Support
According to the latest information, four people have died as a result of the shelling, including a 12-year-old girl. Another 13 individuals have been injured, including one child. Data on the affected individuals is constantly being updated, as new requests are coming not only from the capital but also from neighboring communities that have also been hit.
In addition to emergency assistance, social managers have already been identified in the districts who will provide individual support for each family affected by the actions of the Russian Federation. Thus, the authorities aim to provide the most effective support to people who have lost their homes or suffered other losses due to the shelling.
