Updated Traffic Rules in the Capital
The decision to impose a speed limit has been made to enhance road safety during the autumn-winter period. The new restrictions apply to all major highways in the city where higher speeds were previously allowed.
Where the New Restrictions Apply
According to information from the Traffic Organization Center, updated road signs have been installed to inform drivers about the new speed limit. Specifically, the limit of 50 km/h has been reinstated on the following sections:
- Navodnitsky Highway — from Postal Square to Nadnipryansky Highway;
- Roman Shukhevych Avenue — from the Northern Bridge to Honore de Balzac Street;
- Stepan Bandera Avenue — from Yordanska Street to the Northern Bridge;
- Naberezhno-Rybalska Street — towards the direction from Electricians Street to the Havan Bridge.
“Drivers are urged to be attentive, adhere to the restrictions, and not violate the Traffic Rules.”
Residents of Kyiv and visitors to the capital are asked to follow the new rules to avoid accidents and fines.
