Major roadworks are beginning in the Dnipro District of Kyiv, which will affect traffic on Alisher Navoi Avenue. Starting today, for the next two weeks, there will be partial restrictions on vehicle passage on the section between Voskresensky Avenue and Prince Roman Mstislavich Street.
Reasons for Traffic Restrictions and Stages of Repair
According to municipal services, repair crews will be updating the top layer of the asphalt pavement in stages. This will improve the quality of the roadway and ensure safer movement for all road users.
“From October 1 to 15, traffic will be partially restricted on Alisher Navoi Avenue, on the section from Voskresensky Avenue to Prince Roman Mstislavich Street,” the statement says.
Drivers are urged to take into account the temporary changes in the traffic scheme and, if possible, choose detours to avoid congestion. The work is expected to be completed by mid-October, after which traffic on the avenue will be fully restored.
