Ten Regions of Ukraine Affected by Massive Russian Strike on October 30

As a result of a powerful combined attack by Russia on the night and morning of October 30, ten regions of Ukraine were affected. The aggressor used over 650 drones and more than 50 missiles of various types.

Scale of Destruction and Civilian Casualties

As a result of the Russian strike, ordinary residential buildings were damaged, particularly in Zaporizhzhia, where a dormitory was also destroyed. According to available information, dozens of people were injured, including five children. Two individuals lost their lives. A seven-year-old boy in Ladyzhyn was particularly severely injured, suffering serious trauma.

Attacks on Energy Infrastructure and Government Response

In addition to the destruction of civilian objects, Russian forces launched a series of strikes on energy facilities in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions. Many cities experienced disruptions in energy and water supply. All services are already working to restore critical infrastructure as quickly as possible where it has been damaged.

All necessary services are involved, and we must strive to restore energy and water supply as quickly as possible everywhere it is currently absent,” the head of state wrote on social media.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that to effectively counter Russian aggression, it is necessary to strengthen international pressure on Russia. In particular, this includes new sanctions against the oil and gas sector and the financial sphere, as well as secondary restrictions for companies that continue to support the war.

On the night and morning of October 30, the entire country was under threat of airstrikes, with air raid alerts declared in all regions, further confirming the scale of Russian military aggression against the civilian population of Ukraine.
