The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a significant increase in combat activity of Russian troops on all fronts over the past day.

The Number of Combat Encounters Sharply Increased
According to military sources, there were 278 combat encounters along the front line in the last day. The most tense situation developed in the Pokrovsk, Hulyaipole, and Lyman directions, where the enemy attempted to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian forces.
“The enemy carried out 74 airstrikes, dropped 179 guided bombs. In addition, they conducted 3729 shellings, including 75 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 3523 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
Operational Situation by Directions
- North-Slobozhansky and Kursk Directions: 15 combat encounters were recorded.
- South-Slobozhansky Direction: the enemy carried out 9 attacks.
- Kupyansk Direction: the occupiers attacked 24 times.
- Lyman Direction: the enemy attempted to break through the defenses 27 times.
- Sloviansk Direction: 6 attempts of enemy advancement were recorded.
- Kramatorsk Direction: the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders (the exact number of attacks is not specified, but activity remains high).
- Kostyantynivka Direction: the occupiers carried out 24 attacks.
- Pokrovsk Direction: Ukrainian soldiers repelled 82 attacks by the aggressor near 16 settlements.
- Oleksandrivka Direction: the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 20 enemy assaults.
- Hulyaipole Direction: 28 combat encounters took place.
- Orikhiv Direction: the enemy made 8 attempts to advance.
- Dniprovsk Direction: no combat encounters were recorded.
