The Tournament Final Will Unite the Strongest School Chess Players
On June 28, teams from general secondary education institutions that have already won in the fourth stage of the 2024-2025 season competitions will gather in the capital. The chess matches will take place at the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine, located at: 1 Physical Culture Street.
“The competitions will be held among students of grades 5–9 and 10–11 who have excelled in previous stages,” reports the Kyiv Chess Federation.
Organization and Support of the Final
The overall management of the tournament is carried out by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Center for Physical Education and Sports of Students, the All-Ukrainian Center for Physical Health of the Population “Sport for All,” and the Ukrainian Chess Federation. Thanks to their collaboration, the final promises to be an important event for the development of children’s sports and the promotion of chess among youth.
