As a result of the missile attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv on October 22, the number of casualties has risen to 21 people. Among them are five children, and two residents of the city have died.

According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, as of the morning after the shelling, 21 people have been confirmed injured, including five children. The official reported this on his Telegram channel.

“We currently confirm 21 injured, including 5 children. Two Kyiv residents have died.”

Earlier, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported nine hospitalized individuals, including four children and five adults. Other injured individuals received outpatient medical assistance.

Assistance for residents of affected areas

The Darnytskyi district of the capital was the most affected by the shelling. To support residents impacted by the destruction, humanitarian headquarters have been organized in the area. Residents of buildings on Novodarnytska and Simferopolska streets can seek assistance at the following addresses:

  • 11/1 Simferopolska Street (sports ground);
  • 10 Simferopolska Street (School No. 105).

The humanitarian headquarters provide support to all those affected during the shelling, including counseling, provision of necessary items, and assistance in processing documents for compensation claims.
