The head of state emphasized that Ukraine is also strengthening its defense capabilities and expects significant defense packages from international partners soon. According to him, the country is working on serious foundations for recovery and reconstruction after the war.

International Pressure on Russia Intensifies

According to information from Bloomberg, on May 2, American officials reported preparations for several options to increase economic pressure on Russia due to Putin’s delay in ending the war against Ukraine. More than seventy American senators supported a bill for tough sanctions against Russia, which includes imposing a 500% tariff on imports from countries that purchase oil, gas, or uranium from Russia.
