Kateryna Lisova, a resident of the Solomyansky district, has appealed to the public for help in finding her pet, who helped her grandson escape during a nighttime mass shelling. According to her, on the night of June 17, the boy was in the entrance of a high-rise building with his dog named Richard. This very entrance was later destroyed by a Russian missile strike.

How the dog helped save the young man

During the shelling, an explosion occurred near the entrance, which frightened the dog Richard and caused him to flee. The boy rushed to find his beloved pet, leaving the dangerous spot. This impulse saved his life, as just a few minutes later, the entrance he had just been in was destroyed by the missile explosion. After the incident, the boy was left only in sneakers and home clothes, while the dog went missing.

The search for Richard continues

The boy’s family is reaching out to everyone who cares to help find the dog that became a true savior for the teenager. It is especially important for those who may have seen or found Richard after the tragedy to respond.

“Then something exploded nearby, and the dog ran away. The boy started calling for her, ran to search… This is what saved his life. The dog disappeared after the strike. The grandson was stunned and couldn’t come to his senses for a long time, especially when he saw that his entrance was gone. He was left in sneakers and home clothes… Please respond if you find Richard, our angel,” the woman pleads.

Anyone with information about the dog’s whereabouts is asked to contact the family. Assistance in the search could be crucial for bringing Richard home.
