У МЗС назвали «неадекватністю» вимоги Росії до України знищити надану Заходом зброю

Official Position of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

On his page on the social network X, Georgiy Tikhiy noted that “Russian officials make new absurd demands every day.” In response to the published material with a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry representative, Tikhiy emphasized the complete inadequacy of such demands, pointing out the disregard for the efforts of the international community to end the conflict.

“Moscow shows complete disregard for the efforts of the United States to end the war.”

Details of the Russian Side’s Statements

Recently, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Alexander Grushko, stated in an interview with the Russian publication “Izvestia” that Russia allegedly intends to demand that Ukraine dispose of the so-called “surplus” Western weapons. Such statements continue the Kremlin’s pressure tactics and, according to Ukrainian diplomats, have no basis or rationale.

On June 2, negotiations took place in Istanbul between representatives of Ukraine and Russia. The Ukrainian side proposed establishing a ceasefire regime and organizing a high-level meeting, potentially involving Donald Trump. Moscow rejected this initiative, once again demonstrating its unwillingness to seek diplomatic solutions to resolve the war.
