Festival Program and Participants
This year, 100 large and 12 small publishing houses from across Ukraine have joined the event. Visitors can expect a rich program consisting of two main parts: an event section that includes curated and special programs, and a book fair featuring a wide selection of contemporary Ukrainian literature.
Numerous discussions, presentations of new publications, and thematic lectures will take place during the festival, organized by both curators and the publishers themselves. These events create a unique platform for dialogue among authors, translators, publishers, and readers.
Main Theme and Curators of the Forum
This year, the central theme of the Book Arsenal is the idea of translation, reflected in the focus theme “Everything Between Us – Translation.” The curators of this theme are renowned writer and Yale University history professor Marci Shore, as well as publisher and translator Oksana Forostyna. Within this theme, discussions are planned to explore the significance of translation for cultural dialogue and mutual understanding in the world of contemporary literature.
