A large-scale capital repair project is starting on the overpass near the “Osokorky” metro station in Kyiv, which is expected to last until approximately August 2026. As a result, traffic will be partially restricted at the intersection of Mykola Bazhan Avenue and the Dnipro Embankment.

Traffic Management Features During Repairs
The road services have reported that this overpass has been in operation since 1990 and has not undergone any major repairs since then. To ensure the continuity of traffic flow, the repair work will be organized in stages. In the first stage, traffic will be restricted on half of the overpass on the Dnipro Embankment heading towards “Osokorky,” while traffic in both directions will be routed through the opposite side of the structure.
“Traffic restrictions are related to the start of major repairs on the overpass near the ‘Osokorky’ metro station,” the road service reported.
Temporary Traffic Scheme and Warnings for Drivers
A temporary traffic organization scheme will be implemented during the repair period. This scheme has been coordinated with the Kyiv Patrol Police Department to ensure safety and convenience for all road users. Additional warning signs with information about detours around the construction site will be installed along the route to inform drivers.
Drivers are advised to take the changes in traffic organization into account and plan their routes in advance to avoid congestion and inconveniences during the prolonged repairs of the overpass in Osokorky.
