Delays on Main Routes and Changes to Schedules
Following the enemy’s nighttime airstrike, some trains from the mentioned directions are forced to take detours. To ensure movement, 20 reserve locomotives have already been deployed, and dispatchers have stopped trains at a safe distance from the impact zone.
“Due to the comprehensive attack by the enemy on the substations, we are experiencing delays for passenger trains on the Odesa and Dnipro routes. Some services are taking altered routes, and 20 reserve locomotives are already in use. Our dispatchers have halted a number of trains at a safe distance from the impact zone,” the message states.
To coordinate transfers and waiting for international trains, contact has been established with dispatch teams from foreign railways, particularly in Chełm and Przemyśl. Measures are also being taken to expedite border control procedures.
