Detonation of an Unknown Object Near a Residential Building
The incident took place near one of the residential buildings in the Darnytsia district. According to preliminary data, the explosion was caused by the detonation of an unidentified object that was in the trash bin.
“According to initial information, there was a detonation of an unknown object in the trash bin, as a result of which a local resident passing by was injured. A security guard of the building was also affected,” the report states.
Police Actions and Investigation of the Circumstances
As a result of the explosion, two individuals were injured: a passerby and the building’s security guard. Currently, the explosive ordnance disposal service and the investigative operational group of the Darnytsia police department are working at the scene. Law enforcement is conducting an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident and to determine the origin of the explosive device.
