United States President Donald Trump commented on the situation regarding possible negotiations with Vladimir Putin during his tour of the Middle East. According to Trump,

. He made this statement while aboard Air Force One, en route to Abu Dhabi, which was the third and final stop of his visit to the region.
Trump, who is in the region for a four-day visit, added that he had previously expressed his willingness to go to Turkey if it would help bring Putin to the negotiating table. He stated that he believes it is obvious that Putin would go to Turkey if Trump were there.
