The municipal enterprise «Kyivavtoshlyakhmist» has announced a tender for the development of a revised working project for the current repair of the Northern Bridge, which spans the Dnipro River. This was reported by the enterprise’s press service. Difficulties arose with the initial documentation prepared in 2023 due to insufficient funding, which resulted in incomplete work being carried out.

Why Project Adjustment is Necessary
According to representatives of the KP «Kyivavtoshlyakhmist», a decision was made to update the project documentation to meet modern technical requirements and new needs.
“Currently, plans are underway to update the project to account for technical changes and new needs that have arisen since its development. The design task has already been compiled and approved. The estimated duration for the design work is 4 months”
, the enterprise stated.
What the Updated Repair Project Entails
The new version of the project includes a comprehensive set of measures for the restoration of the bridge. Among them are the replacement of the bridge deck, repair of the reinforced concrete slab of the roadway, installation of a new waterproofing layer, and renewal of the asphalt concrete surface. These measures are intended to ensure the durability and safety of traffic on the bridge, as well as to incorporate modern technologies and traffic safety requirements.
