Criticism of Zelensky and Biden
Trump again placed the blame for the outbreak of the war on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his predecessor Joe Biden. He pointed out that during his presidency, Russian President Putin did not even mention the possibility of military action.
“I’m not saying anyone is an angel. But during my term, Putin didn’t even mention it. And Biden kept oil prices so high that Russia couldn’t be stopped”

Negotiations for Peace Settlement
Furthermore, Trump stated that negotiations are currently underway to end the war, which, according to him, “may be going well.” He emphasized that “there comes a time when you either have to act or be quiet.” In recent weeks, there have been several meetings and phone calls between representatives of Ukraine and the U.S., as well as between Russia and the U.S. regarding a ceasefire.
It is known that on March 11, Ukraine managed to reach an agreement on a 30-day ceasefire, which Russian President Putin did not reject, but he laid out his conditions. U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff held a meeting with Putin that lasted over four hours, during which various aspects of the Ukrainian settlement were discussed.
Nevertheless, the situation remains tense, and further negotiations may be crucial for the peace process.
