Two children have been hospitalized following an incident on the ride

On the evening of August 1, two minors were injured while riding the cable car at Victory Park in Kyiv. According to preliminary information, a girl and a boy collided on the ride, resulting in serious bodily injuries.
Details of the Incident and Rescuers’ Actions
Emergency responders quickly reacted to the incident, assisting the children in descending from the height. Medics who arrived at the scene hospitalized a 10-year-old girl with a broken arm and a 12-year-old boy who sustained injuries to his chest and abdomen.
“Rescuers brought the children down from the height, and medics hospitalized the 10-year-old girl with a broken arm and the 12-year-old boy with injuries to his chest and abdomen to the hospital,” the statement said.
Investigation and Criminal Proceedings
Law enforcement has initiated criminal proceedings under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: part 1 of article 271 — violation of labor protection legislation, and part 1 of article 137 — improper performance of duties regarding the protection of the life and health of children.
At this time, the police have seized part of the cable car equipment, ride documentation, and video recordings for examination. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and all necessary investigative actions are being conducted to establish the circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible.
