A New Format of Cooperation for the Development of Defense Technologies
According to Svyrydenko, the implementation of this project opens up a fundamentally new approach to interaction between the state, weapons manufacturers, and foreign partners. Manufacturers will gain access to a special artificial intelligence platform developed by the Ministry of Defense. This platform will allow for the safe and effective training of AI algorithms without direct access to confidential data, ensuring the preservation of national security.
“Weapons manufacturers will have access to a special AI platform developed by the Ministry of Defense, which will enable safe and high-quality training of models without access to sensitive databases. This will help accelerate the development of autonomous systems and the implementation of new technological solutions for the front,” the head of government reported.
Ukraine’s Unique Combat Data and International Partners’ Interest
The Prime Minister emphasized that Ukraine possesses a unique array of combat data, unmatched anywhere in the world. This data is precisely what international companies need for further enhancement of defense technologies. For the Ukrainian Defense Forces, this means an expansion of technological capabilities for detecting and engaging the enemy on the battlefield.
<pIn March, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine had received 11 official requests for the supply of drones capable of countering enemy drones. Such requests have come from countries neighboring Iran, as well as several European states and America.
Previously, the president noted that Ukraine is ready to assist countries in the Middle East in defending against Iranian attacks: Ukrainian specialists are already working on these issues directly on the ground. Furthermore, it has become known that the USA and one of the Gulf countries are interested in purchasing Ukrainian interceptor drones to combat Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles. In response to these initiatives, Volodymyr Zelensky offered Middle Eastern countries a “quiet exchange” and promised support, while expressing interest in acquiring missiles for air defense systems.
