Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the audit of military aid received from Europe and the USA found no violations. He stated this in an interview with American conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro, which was published with an English translation on April 24.

Zelensky noted that he and inspectors from Ukraine, Europe, and the USA regularly monitor the process of aid utilization. He emphasized that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, support from partners has been undermined by fake news and other propaganda tools from Russia.
Ukraine’s Openness to Audit and Confirmation of Aid Utilization
«That’s why we immediately said that we are open: send inspectors. They have been here. So regarding the audit – we are always ready for any checks, we have nothing to hide,» he stressed.
Zelensky also thanked American taxpayers for their support but emphasized that he conducts internal audits and closely tracks how much aid has come from various countries and when. He did not dispute the clear figure of $105 billion that Ukraine received from the USA, instead explaining that most of this aid is in the form of weapons, not cash.
«My country clearly documents how much aid has been provided. For your understanding, we received (from the USA – ed.) $105 billion. Most of this aid was in the form of weapons… All this weaponry arrived, funds were paid for the transportation of this weapon. Ukrainian companies were not allowed to transport it, so we did not receive – neither the public nor the private sector – money for transportation»
Zelensky added that the USA also supports Ukraine in other ways, including training Ukrainian soldiers abroad. He emphasized that all the weapons received by Ukraine have been used on the battlefield and that the USA receives information about their use in real combat conditions.
In February, Zelensky reported that about 30% of the weapons and equipment on the front lines are aid from the USA.
