Ukraine is expanding its cooperation with international partners in the defense industry. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has signed new agreements with the United States of America and Denmark regarding the joint production of modern weapons and interceptor drones abroad.
Joint Projects with the USA and Denmark
According to the head of state, this week an agreement was reached with an American company for the joint production of drones. Additionally, an agreement was signed with Denmark, which involves launching the first joint production of weapons on the territory of the partner country specifically for the needs of Ukraine.
“There will be more protection for life, and there definitely will be. We are scaling up joint production of weapons with our partners: long-range weapons to reduce Russia’s desire to kill, and interceptor drones to protect our people. This week, there is an agreement with an American company for the production of drones, as well as an agreement with Denmark for the first joint production of weapons for Ukraine abroad,” noted the Head of State.
Support for Ukraine’s Defense Industry
The President emphasized the importance of scaling up the production of long-range weapons and interceptor drones. Such steps are aimed at reducing threats from the Russian Federation and enhancing the protection of Ukrainian citizens. Zelensky expressed gratitude to international partners who support the development of the Ukrainian defense industry while also strengthening their own defense sectors.
