Destruction of Ships Under U.S. Sanctions

According to information provided by the insurgent movement, these ships were transporting military cargo, and details of their route and cargo were passed on to the Ukrainian military. Among the affected vessels are the “Composer Rachmaninoff” and the “Askar-Saridja.” Both ships are used by Russia to transport weapons between Iran and the Russian Federation and are under U.S. sanctions due to their involvement in such transports.

Operation with International Resonance

The destruction of these ships is of strategic importance, as they played a key role in ensuring Russia’s military logistics by supplying weapons and equipment from Iran. The operation was made possible by the effective collaboration between Ukrainian special forces and the local insurgent movement, which assisted in obtaining crucial intelligence information.

Among the affected vessels are the “Composer Rachmaninoff” and the “Askar-Saridja,” which are used by the enemy and are under U.S. sanctions due to their involvement in supplying military cargo between Iran and the Russian Federation.

The destruction of these ships will significantly complicate Russia’s further attempts to obtain weapons from Iran and deals a substantial blow to the enemy’s military logistics capabilities in the Caspian Sea region.
