The Ukrainian military reported an escalation in the combat situation on the front, recording over 190 combat engagements in the last day.

Main Directions of Combat Operations and Occupant Losses
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the highest intensity of combat operations was observed in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. Over the course of the day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated nearly 850 Russian soldiers, destroyed four tanks, six armored personnel carriers, as well as 63 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems. Additionally, one air defense system, 414 operational-tactical level drones, 28 cruise missiles, and 109 units of automotive and special equipment, including fuel tankers, were neutralized.
“The enemy launched 3 missile and 70 air strikes, using 36 missiles and dropping 117 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, they carried out 5,358 shellings, including 102 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 6,205 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
Situation on the Frontline Directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were eight combat engagements. The enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units twice in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk in the Southern Slobozhansky direction. Five attempts at an offensive were recorded in the Kupiansk direction.
In the Lyman direction, the occupiers attempted to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 31 times, while in the Siversky direction, our military repelled ten attacks near Hryhorivka, Vyimka, and Pereizne. In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces attacked towards Stupochky four times, and in the Toretsk direction, they carried out five assaults.
The Pokrovsk direction remained one of the hottest spots, where Ukrainian defenders halted 37 enemy assaults near 11 populated areas. In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy conducted 15 attacks, while in the Orikhiv direction, the occupying forces attempted to storm the positions of the Defense Forces near Stepove. In the Dniprovsk direction, Ukrainian military repelled three enemy attacks.
No combat engagements were recorded in the Huliaipole direction.
