Over 150 Combat Engagements and Significant Enemy Losses
In the past day, Ukrainian forces engaged in over 150 combat encounters with the enemy. The fiercest battles took place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions. According to the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated approximately 1010 Russian occupants, as well as destroyed a tank, an armored combat vehicle, 25 artillery systems, and multiple rocket launchers. Additionally, 553 operational-tactical drones, 29 cruise missiles, and 78 units of automotive and special equipment, including tank trucks, were destroyed.
“The enemy launched a missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using 37 missiles, 71 airstrikes, and dropping 120 guided bombs. Furthermore, they conducted 4785 shellings, including 86 from multiple rocket launchers, and deployed 6322 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
Operational Situation on the Front Lines
In the Northern Slobozhansky, Southern Slobozhansky, and Kursk directions, seven combat engagements were recorded in the past day. In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks. At the same time, in the Lyman direction, the enemy made 15 attempts to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
The Siversky direction was attacked by Russian forces six times, but all assaults were halted. In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat encounters occurred. The Toretsk direction also remained tense, with 15 enemy attacks recorded.
The highest number of intense battles was noted in the Pokrovsk direction, where 52 combat engagements took place near 17 populated areas. In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 22 attempts by the enemy to break through. In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions six times, while in the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack from the aggressor.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy attempted twice to approach the positions of Ukrainian units near the Antonivsky Bridge, but these attempts were unsuccessful.
