At the beginning of next week, a delegation from Ukraine, led by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, will head to the United States of America. Main Topics of Negotiations in Washington
According to the head of state, the Ukrainian side plans to focus on issues of air defense, energy security, further sanctions measures, as well as negotiations regarding the frozen assets of the Russian Federation in the USA. Special attention will be given to discussing the negotiation track between Ukraine and its international partners.
“Topics: air defense, energy, sanctions steps, negotiation track. The issue of frozen assets from the USA will also be discussed,” he said.
Prospects for International Support and Dialogue
Volodymyr Zelensky also reported that preparations are underway to expand the work of the so-called “Coalition of the Willing” – an international initiative aimed at consolidating Ukraine’s partners. Relevant meetings are planned to be held in October and November of this year.
The President expressed confidence that US President Donald Trump is interested in a ceasefire and ending the war. Zelensky noted that his meetings with the American leader and the facts presented contribute to a broader understanding of the situation and reveal false statements from the Russian side. He added that after joint discussions between Ukraine and the USA, a constructive dialogue is maintained at various levels, positively impacting bilateral relations.
It is worth noting that Donald Trump called in September for a personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to resolve the war initiated by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. During the September meeting in the USA, the leaders discussed possible ways to achieve peace and ideas for ending hostilities.
