Escalation of Conflict Between Israel and Iran

On the morning of February 28, Israeli military forces launched a sudden strike on Iranian territory. Explosions were heard in Iran’s capital, Tehran. At the same time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a national warning urging citizens to stay near protected areas and be prepared for possible missile strikes.

According to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, the country has initiated a preventive military operation aimed at neutralizing potential threats from Tehran and preventing attacks on Israeli territory. A U.S. representative confirmed the involvement of American military forces in this operation, emphasizing that its goal is to weaken Iran’s security infrastructure. Subsequently, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the start of a military campaign against Iran to eliminate threats from the Iranian regime and protect the interests of the U.S. and its allies.

Iran, in turn, declared its intention to deliver a devastating response. Later, missile strikes on Israeli territory from Iran were reported. According to the Israel Defense Forces, defense systems are functioning to intercept the threat, and citizens in the affected regions were alerted via mobile phones. Alarm sirens sounded in various areas of the country following the detection of missile launches.

Additionally, reports emerged of Iranian missile strikes on military facilities in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain, as well as explosions in Kuwait. Local media reported significant traffic jams at the exit from Dubai. Bahrain condemned the attacks on its territory, calling them treacherous, and confirmed that they targeted the country’s facilities and infrastructure.
