The President of the European Commission also responded to yet another massive missile strike on Ukraine by Russia. She confirmed the intention to maintain maximum pressure on Moscow and announced the preparation of the 19th sanctions package against Russia. In addition, von der Leyen assured that work is ongoing to use frozen Russian assets to strengthen defense and support the reconstruction of Ukraine.
