Which Assets Were Confiscated for the Benefit of the State
According to the information from the Ministry of Justice, the court ruled to transfer the following assets belonging to Volodymyr Oliynyk to the state:
- half and a quarter of real estate properties in Cherkasy;
- half of a real estate property in the Kyiv region;
- half of a self-propelled motor pleasure boat.
At the same time, the court denied the claim for the corporate rights in the company “E.S.P. TECHNOLOGIES,” which belong to the former deputy’s wife, Lyudmyla Oliynyk.
Oliynyk’s Activities After 2014
It is known that Volodymyr Oliynyk left Ukraine after the Revolution of Dignity and is currently in the Russian Federation. There, he filed a lawsuit with the Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow, achieving a ruling in 2016 that recognized the events in Ukraine in 2014 as a “coup d’état.” Additionally, Oliynyk is one of the founders of the organization “Committee for the Salvation of Ukraine,” which has an anti-Ukrainian orientation, and actively participates in Russian propaganda projects.
“In his speeches, V. Oliynyk publicly supports and disseminates narratives of Russian propaganda aimed at shaping a distorted view of the events occurring in Ukraine,” the ministry adds.
The court decision can be appealed by the participants in the process within five days after the publication of the full text on the VAKS website.
Oliynyk definitively left Ukraine after the victory of the Revolution of Dignity in 2014.
In September 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine informed Volodymyr Oliynyk, as well as another former MP Oleg Tsaryov, of suspicion of treason and illegal border crossing. According to the SBU, the suspects were in the temporarily occupied part of the Kyiv region to assist in establishing an occupation administration there.
