Vladislav Nymak, a musician, producer, singer, and aerial reconnaissance specialist of the Separate Drone Aviation Service of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, shared his vision of the role of youth in the development of the state.
The Role of Youth in Shaping Ukraine’s Future
According to Vladislav Nymak, modern Ukrainian youth should actively connect their lives with Ukraine and feel responsible for its future. He emphasizes that young people should not only participate in social processes but also engage in the changes occurring in the country and around it.
“There is very diverse youth… And it varies greatly in different cities. But I want young people to be more involved in the surrounding processes, to be more concerned. I want youth to understand themselves as Ukrainians, to realize that even in school, you can still be useful to the Defense Forces,” said Vladislav Nymak.
Challenges and Expectations for the Young Generation
The military highlights the trend of youth leaving the country. According to him, this phenomenon is concerning, as many leave Ukraine in search of comfort or due to family circumstances. However, Vladislav Nymak emphasizes that he has no right to judge such individuals, but his personal wish is to see Ukrainians in their homeland, where they can be useful and support national identity.
In his interview, he added that even schoolchildren can contribute to strengthening the Defense Forces and building Ukrainian society. Nymak urges youth to be active, concerned, and aware of their role in shaping the future of the state.
