In his statement, Zelensky emphasized the priority of security for Ukraine and the importance of efforts from all partners in this direction, noting that important meetings await him ahead.

Negotiations with King Abdullah II
According to Jordanian media, during the visit, Zelensky met with King Abdullah II. The main focus of the negotiations was on current events in the region as well as on bilateral relations between Ukraine and Jordan.

Ukrainian Tour of Middle Eastern Countries
The visit to Jordan is part of Volodymyr Zelensky’s diplomatic tour of several Middle Eastern countries. Prior to this, the Ukrainian president visited Qatar, where he announced agreements on mutually beneficial defense partnerships between Kyiv and Doha for a period of at least 10 years. It was also previously reported about the signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of defense between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.
