The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, arrived in Saudi Arabia for a working visit aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations. During the trip, he will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to discuss strategic issues.

Main Areas of Cooperation
According to the president, the key topics of the negotiations are the expansion of partnership in the fields of security, energy, and infrastructure development. Zelensky emphasized the importance of mutual support in these areas and noted the substance of cooperation between the two states.
“Today we are developing agreements with Saudi Arabia in the fields of security, energy, and infrastructure. It is important that the strengthening is mutual. I appreciate the substantive cooperation between our countries.”
Development of Strategic Agreements
It is worth noting that on March 26, Zelensky also visited Saudi Arabia. Following that visit, the countries signed an important agreement on defense cooperation. Among the new achievements are agreements within the Drone Deal: Ukraine has already reached agreements with three key states in the region — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, signing long-term decade contracts for the development of cutting-edge technologies.
Ukrainian specialists in counter-drone technology are also actively working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia. This contributes to strengthening defense capabilities and exchanging experience between the countries.
