Ukrainian school students won prestigious awards at the International Inventions and Innovations Show in Poland, showcasing a high level of scientific achievement.

Achievements of Young Researchers from the Small Academy of Sciences
The International Inventions and Innovations Show in Poland served as a platform for talented school students and university students from various countries to present their scientific developments and startups in diverse fields. For the fifth consecutive year, the Ukrainian delegation has been represented by students from the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 2025, the team consisted of 20 young researchers who prepared 18 projects that made a significant impression on the international community.
Winners and Their Innovative Projects
Gold medals were awarded to two participants from Kyiv. Petro Dmyeniev presented a solution to enhance the efficiency of the blast furnace industry at metallurgical enterprises, while Yaroslava Krenevych researched the unique properties of epoxy-metal composites.
In particular, gold awards were won by Petro Dmyeniev from Kyiv, who developed a solution for optimizing the blast furnace industry at metallurgical enterprises, and Yaroslava Krenevych – she studied the properties of epoxy-metal composites.
Milana Poroshynska won a bronze medal for creating a mobile application “Allergy Control,” which helps users track and manage allergic reactions. A special award from the President of the Polish Ecological Chamber and a bronze medal were awarded to Anastasia Andrushchenko from Kyiv region. She presented an ecological project dedicated to studying the level of carbon dioxide in the air of Boryspil using bioindication.
Vadym Dobrovolskyi, also from Kyiv region, demonstrated innovative technologies for controlling the altitude of unmanned aerial vehicles after exposure to enemy electronic warfare measures, which is highly relevant for the country’s security and defense capabilities.
The participation of Ukrainian school students in international scientific events confirms the high potential of young scientists and their ability to create projects that address current global challenges.
