Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his video address, announced plans to implement personnel changes among the leaders of regional military administrations. According to his statement, relevant decisions regarding the replacement of certain heads of local administrations are expected as early as next week.

“I also expect reports next week regarding some heads of local administrations that should already be replaced,” he noted during his address.
Reasons for Upcoming Personnel Changes
During his address, Zelensky did not disclose specific names or regions that may be affected by the changes, but emphasized the need for prompt responses to the challenges facing the country. Among the reasons influencing the decisions regarding personnel reshuffles, the president mentioned the effectiveness of the administrations’ work and the need to strengthen local management capacity.
Dismissals in the Military Command
Separately, the president addressed the situation in the Odesa region following recent massive missile strikes from Russia. Zelensky highlighted the importance of strengthening the air defense and logistics systems. In this regard, he announced the decision to dismiss the commander of the Air Command “South,” Dmytro Karpenko.
The president stated:
“We will fight for logistics, strengthen air defense, and command. I discussed the issue of replacing the commander of the Air Command ‘South,’ Karpenko, because we need to respond promptly and quickly, no matter how difficult it may be, and we must protect our people, Odesa, and our other regions to the maximum,” he emphasized.
Thus, important personnel decisions aimed at strengthening management structures and enhancing security in Ukraine’s regions are expected in the near future.
