During the plenary session of the Ukraine Recovery Conference held in Rome on July 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed foreign companies, urging them to increase investments in the domestic drone manufacturing sector and air defense systems (ADS).
Ukrainian Experience for Partners
“Ukraine possesses some of the most advanced drone technologies in the world for both offense and defense. We are ready to share this experience and these technologies with our partners. Ukraine needs investments – you need skills and technologies. Everything we are currently building to protect Ukraine will also help protect you,” the Head of State noted.
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the urgency of strengthening air security, as Russia conducts daily strikes on Ukrainian territory. The President pointed out that just on the night of July 10, two people were killed as a result of an attack in Kyiv.
Call for Increased Investments in Air Defense and Interceptor Drones
The President stressed that the priority today is to stop Russian drones and missiles, which requires expanding the supply of air defense means and investing in modern interceptor drones and missile systems. Zelensky urged partners to invest more actively in relevant projects, emphasizing the unacceptability of funding shortages in the production of defense technologies.
