The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, denied information regarding the destruction of the American Patriot air defense system as a result of the recent massive attack by the Russian Federation. According to the head of state, all Patriot systems remain intact, and the claims of their loss that appeared in the media are not true.

“As a result of the recent massive strikes, none of the Patriot systems were destroyed or damaged. What was reported in the media is not true,” Zelensky stated in a message on Telegram.
Effectiveness of Ukrainian Air Defense and New Approaches
The President also reported on the significant contribution of mobile fire groups in the fight against aerial targets. He stated that approximately one-third of the Shahed strike drones are shot down by such groups, indicating the effectiveness of the new tactics for defending Ukrainian airspace.
Production of Interceptors in Ukraine
Zelensky emphasized the development of domestic defense production. Currently, four companies in Ukraine are engaged in the development and manufacturing of interceptors to counter enemy drones. Of these, two companies are already demonstrating particularly successful results, enhancing the country’s defense capabilities and reducing dependence on imported weapons.
