On June 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, with the key topic being the expansion of drone production. The president shared the outcomes of the meeting in his evening address.

Technological Focus in the Work of the Headquarters
During the meeting, detailed reports were presented on all aspects related to drones: from financing and production issues to necessary changes in the regulatory sphere. Special attention was paid to how to maximize the production of those types of unmanned aerial vehicles that are most in demand on the front lines and for the protection of Ukrainian cities, taking into account the development of enemy technologies.
“I held a meeting of the Headquarters. It was specifically a technological component – the Technological Headquarters. There were detailed reports on drones – all issues. This includes finances, production, and necessary regulatory simplifications. The key goal is to produce the maximum amount, and specifically those types of drones that are needed on the front lines and for the protection of cities, as well as considering the development of enemy technologies,” Zelensky stated.
Cooperation Between the State and Business in Weapon Production
On the same day in Kyiv, the president participated in the “Forum of Government and Business: From Dialogue to Partnership.” During his speech, he noted that hundreds of Ukrainian companies are actively involved in weapon production. According to Volodymyr Zelensky, thanks to the cooperation between the state and business, it has already been possible to meet over 40% of the Ukrainian military’s weapon needs.
